The Big Citi can go shopping as usual!

 The Federal Reserve Bank gave Citigroup the go-ahead for acquisitions after a year-long no-no imposed on them after a string of scandals. They can now go on to what they do best - growth-by-acquisitions. They are great at acquiring other companies, though knowing when to sell some at the same time. That company is just huge! It's a behemoth of a company with as much as 8 million client accounts and assets above $1 trillion. And it has no plans to stop growing! It's unbelievable to me. It's a company that the day-to-day management leaves me perplexed everytime I think of how it is managed. As big as they are, the are no free to continue their shopping spree. I wonder which companies they will be acquiring next especially since the great Wall Street negotiator and legend, Sandy Weil, is stepping down and one of my most-admired business minds - Margie Magner - is gone.
