No Today's show without Katie???
Katie Couric, on her 15th anniversary with NBC's Today's Show, announced her much speculated move from NBC to CBS today once her contract ends in September if i'm right. I wonder what that show will be like without her cos really, there is no Today's show without that woman. If I think of that show, I think of her and Matt Lauer or whatever his name is (and I guess Al Roker too). And her rise to stardom? Very motivating! I just can't imagine that show without her. I have no idea how NBC will find a replacement for her without losing their rating as #1 morning show for the past 10 yrs pretty much non-stop. Outstanding record!!!

I watch the show every now and then but I know I will miss her myself. There is this serene aroma she carries around her that keeps me watching everytime I tune in in the mornings. I love that woman! Very calm, serene, elegant, motherly and inexplicable youthful, mystically passionate and unbecoming down-to-earth persona that she exudes when I watch her, though I have heard she is quite temperamental. Pls! People will always make up shit! She just looks like a celebrity that you can relate with somehow. She looks human unlike a lot fo TV faces that just look outlandish to me. :)

I know she is moving on to greater things though just a meager $2 million increase from her $13 million/5 years that she currently has with NBC according to annonymous sources. However, I think it's worth it. She will become the first woman to anchor a network evening show replacing the famous (or "climatically infamous" due to issues) Dan Rather who has been filled on for by Bob Schieffer so far. I am definitely excited for her and look forward to seeing her first appearance in September. Meanwhile, without her, to me, there is no Today's Show. I'm sorry...

    @belle:
    I don't think she is overrated though if you compare her to some of the anchors on the other morning shows. ok...maybe just a lil bit. :) Yeah, I heard her replacement will be Meredith Vieira.. Wonder how that will go...

    @dayo:
    Yeah, Hollywood knows how to overrate people but like I said ....maybe just a lil bit. True talk. no dime dey touch person pocket, so what the heck is one's biz, but hey..you got to wish her the best for sure.
