Creativity and sexual success go together
According to an article I read on Yahoo, guess what Pablo Picasso, Lord Byron and Dylan Thomas had more in common than their simple creativity. Active sex lives!

A research discovered that the creativity of humans can be linked to their sexual success. They used people in the creative arts field as their case studies. They found that professional artists and poets had between 4 and 10 sexual partners, while less creative people had an average of three. That's an interesting one. These days the average seems more like tens of partners for most people. Hmmphh. Let's see….. how many have I had…… Just kidding. Not that many, for sure.

The study also showed that the average number of sexual partners increased as creative output went up. What the artists produce draws attention to them, which seems to enhance their sexual allure.

I am not too surprised by these study results because I have to say that that act or thing (whatever) called sex, when it's well done, does something to you that cannot be put in clear words (most especially when in done in the right context. I will leave that for another day). It makes you feel very light, elated and free. Of course, such combo of feelings could stir up creativity in a person.

But, the article stated one fact that is so true and disheartening – "The active sex lives of artists is often tolerated, even by long-term partners who are less likely to expect loyalty and fidelity from them." This is a terrible fact but it's true. "Marry a star, forget loyalty and fidelity." It just doesn't happen.

Anyway, I am guessing the creativities of these artists were also applied even when they were having sex, doing things that the non-creative minds cannot fathom. I have been thinking of how I can increase my creative art skills – painting, photography, calligraphy, etc. I guess, now I know!

Here is the article:
